Lower Costs for Pro-Design as Colotech Alternative
We (GDL and Nemo) have been in discussions with the mill that produces a paper called Pro-Design and agreed that they would offer some price and marketing support for this branded range of papers. The paper is high quality laser paper “similar” to that used by Xerox in their Colotech+ brand (ie. – it is the paper in their packs for much of the time!). It delivers photo-realistic image quality in full colour on high speed digital printers, including duplex printing.
Whilst we have dealt with the Mill directly, it is necessary to organise distribution through a UK based merchant and we have made this arrangement with the Paper Company (AKA Dixon & Roe, Donald Murray, Mason, NW Paper and Southern Paper depending on location). Even so the prices remain below that which most merchants are currently offering. We are also pleased to tell you that the prices will remain fixed for the foreseeable future and are certainly not affected by the current range of paper increases being threatened for for April 1st.
I would urge you to support this arrangement, which I hope is the first of a number of such developments. We are also looking at prices for mid quality laser and the indigo range of materials with other Mills.
